Start with clearance and clear clinical direction
Corrective Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage is included in Viva Cryo’s published service inventory. The word “corrective” is the service name; it is not a promise that the appointment can correct a complication, alter a surgical result, or provide medical treatment. The service does not replace care from a surgeon, physician, licensed rehabilitation professional, or any other treating clinician.
Obtain explicit clearance from the clinician directing your post-operative care before contacting the studio for treatment. Ask that professional to specify timing, areas that may or may not be addressed, positioning, pressure, and any other restrictions. If you believe something is wrong with your recovery, return to your clinician for assessment rather than scheduling a wellness service to evaluate it.
A detailed pre-appointment conversation
Viva Cryo will need enough context to understand whether the requested appointment fits the studio’s scope. Be prepared to share the procedure type and date, treatment areas, current restrictions, follow-up schedule, compression or garment instructions, mobility limitations, and relevant changes since your last clinical visit. Written direction is preferable when available.
The team can describe its studio protocol and ask follow-up questions. Even with clearance, Viva Cryo may postpone or decline the appointment if symptoms, uncertainty, or restrictions call for further clinical input. This boundary protects the distinction between a non-medical studio service and professional post-operative care.
New or worsening symptoms—including concerns about an incision, fever, shortness of breath, significant pain, or unexpected swelling—belong with your treating clinician or an appropriate urgent-care resource. The studio cannot diagnose their cause.
Expectations and ongoing coordination
No webpage can establish an appropriate number of sessions for a post-operative client. Viva Cryo does not guarantee changes in appearance, swelling, tissue feel, comfort, mobility, or recovery time. If appointments are planned as a series, your clinician’s evolving instructions continue to take priority, and the studio may request renewed clearance.
Keep every required visit with your care team. Tell Viva Cryo when guidance changes, when another provider performs a service, or when a new concern appears. A conservative plan may involve pausing studio appointments while you obtain further direction.
